I have over 30 years experience of working in applied psychology in a variety of therapeutic and corporate environments.
In my early career I trained as a forensic psychologist and spent time working with young offenders in prison. Following this I worked as an organisational psychologist in the public, private and charity sectors specialising in executive assessment and development.
As a freelance consultant in private practice I delivered psychometric profiling, ran development centres and provided psychological coaching for senior managers. I worked at a local hospice as a volunteer bereavement counsellor and in a low-cost clinic supporting clients with depression, anxiety and addiction amongst other issues.
I trained in psychosynthesis counselling, a flexible and holistic approach, which helps people to address the day to day challenges and destructive patterns which stop them from living authentic and fulfilled lives.
I enjoy using my experience as a coach and counsellor to provide people with practical, person-centred, flexible support that makes them feel safe and facilitates their development and growth.
